Yemen and Morocco sign matrix of carrying out Islamic affairs cooperation accord

Yemen and Morocco signed on Tuesday a matrix of carrying out the cooperation agreement between the two countries in field of endowments and Islamic affairs.

A committee was formed to follow up the executive program of the matrix.

The matrix, was signed after three-day talks between the two sides in Sana’a, includes sharing experience and systems associated with maintaining manuscripts as well as preparing researches in filed of Islamic heritage and civilization.

The matrix pointed out to the cooperation in guidance and youth dialogue between the two countries.

Jordan, Yemen Discuss Boosting Cooperation

Amman, June 28 (Petra) – Minister of Industry and Trade Salem Al Khazaleh discussed today with Director of Yemeni General Investment Authority Salah Al Attar scopes of enhancing the bilateral ties in trade, economic and investment domains.

Khazaleh highlighted the importance of increasing trade exchange between the two countries, developing relations in various domains, exchanging investments and building economic relations that would serve the interests of both countries.

Al Attar hailed the cooperation relations between Jordan and Yemen, expressing his country’s desire to benefit from the Jordanian expertise in the various spheres, especially establishing industrial cities, qualification and training.

Jordan’s exports to Yemen stood at JD25 million in 2006, while imports from Yemen reached JD3 million. The volume of Yemeni investments in Jordan reached JD520,000.

Syria and Yemen sign agreement of Free trade zones

SANAA,YEMEN (SANA)-Syria and Yemen signed a minutes on activating the technical and administration Protocol of cooperation approved in Damascus in 2002 between the General Institution of the Syrian free zones and the free zone in Aden.

 

Following the signing ceremony, General Director of the Syrian Free Zones Ahmad Abdul-Aziz underlined in a statement that both sides agreed to boost and activate the bilateral relations in legislatives, contracts, marketing, developing and facilitating procedures for investors from the two countries .

 

” We agreed to prepare memorandum to be passed to the Arab League including the call to start establishing the Arab Organization for Free Zones to develop the Arab free zones in addition to the agreement to exchange expertise in administration and law domains, Abdul-Aziz added.

Yemen anima a las empresas españolas a explorar las posibilidades del país

El ministro de Exteriores yemení, Abubakr al Qirbi, ha animado a los empresarios españoles a exploren las posibilidades que ofrece su país en turismo, pesca e infraestructuras. El desarrollo de la electricidad, carreteras y energía constituyen las prioridades actuales del gobierno, que prevé construir una autopista de 400 km del norte al sur del país, para la cual busca financiación y colaboración. El ministro destacó la posibilidad de ampliar la colaboración con España en el sector pesquero, donde España tiene una flota, así como el turístico, con numerosos yacimientos arqueológicos y gran superficie de costa. Propuso organizar una reunión entre empresarios de ambos países y la creación de una cámara de comercio hispano-yemení.

Abubakr Al Qirbi en el Fórum EuropaYemen abre sus puertas a la inversión española en energía, pesca y turismo. El ministro del Exterior y Emigrantes de Yemen, Abubakr Al Qirbi, invitó hoy a las empresas españolas a “explorar” la posibilidad de poner en marcha negocios en su país, y destacó el “gran potencial” que, a su juicio, ofrecen los sectores de la energía, la pesca y el turismo en Yemen. Durante su intervención en Madrid en el Fórum Europa, que organiza Nueva Economía Fórum, el ministro yemení adelantó que a comienzos del próximo mes de abril se celebrar una conferencia de inversiones en Yemen, donde espera que España “intensifique” su colaboración.
Las tres principales áreas de inversión en este país son, a su entender, los sectores del gas y el petróleo, la pesca y el turismo. Otra de las prioridades de su Gobierno es el desarrollo de infraestructuras, como la construcción de carreteras.

“Tenemos miles de kilómetros de costa y unas islas preciosas donde construir hoteles, y queremos aumentar nuestra capacidad para generar electricidad, desde los 1.000 megavatios a los 3.000. Además, pensamos construir una autopista que vaya de norte a sur del país”, añadió Al Qirbi.

Finalmente, destacó su intención de “facilitar” encuentros entre las empresas privadas españolas y yemeníes, con la puesta en marcha, por ejemplo, de una cámara de comercio hispano-yemení.
